The Singapore Yacht Show 2013 was another runaway success and has now been hailed as Asia's most significant yachting event.
The feedback from all who attended the show was incredibly positive. The ONE°15 Marina Club in Sentosa Cove was heralded as the ideal venue for the show and Singapore itself is the perfect business hub for the future of yachting in Asia.
“It was incredibly well organised and attracted just the right calibre of clientele, so we were delighted, as indeed were the owners of Twizzle,” commented Neil Hornsby, the director of Burgess.
Attracting more than double the number of exhibitors as last year, there was also a significantly larger selection of yachts in the 30-80ft range. Go Gorilla, the yacht show's registration provider, recorded more than 8,000 visitors over the four days, almost double the number of ticketed entries as last year, and a record 11,000 people registered their interest in the show online.
2014 looks to be an even more spectacular edition of the Singapore Yacht Show, with the show organisers taking on board all exhibitor feedback and looking to increase and maximise the on-water display area.
Everybody who participated is saying that the number and quality of visitors at this year's show was way beyond their expectations. They all seem to have had significant leads, and significant sales.
