Superyachts get ready for Palm Beach Boat Show 2018

By Rebecca Bradbury   15 March 2018

The 33rd edition of the Palm Beach International Boat Show will get underway on 22nd March, bringing four days of superyacht showcases, marine-related exhibits and water sports demos to downtown West Palm Beach, Florida.

A key fixture among the global yachting community, the annual Palm Beach International Boat Show will, this year, feature more than $1.2 billion worth of boats, yachts and accessories from world-leading manufacturers.

The most renowned shipyards, such as Feadship, Amels and Heesen, will also be in town, utilizing the show as a platform for promoting their latest projects and conducting business with the global elite.

Indeed, the boat show attracts high-level boat buyers and charter clients alike thanks to its spectacular line-up of superyachts, available for both sale and rent.

One of the must-see yachts at this year’s show is the 50m/164ft charter yacht ‘Silver Lining’ from Christensen. Launched last year, she combines an opulent interior with luxurious outdoor areas and state-of-the-art amenities.

Other top yachts include the 50m/164ft Trinity charter yacht ‘Aspen Alternative’, the 47m/154ft charter yacht RHINO from Admiral Marine Works and the brand new 47m/154ft superyacht ‘Book Ends’ which, built by Heesen, is for private use only.

The 2018 edition also sees the introduction of a new VIP pass. The exclusive experience allows access to a private club and provides a dedicated concierge team to help arrange yacht viewings, transport and other personalized services.

There will be fun and educational activities for the whole family too, including youth fishing clinics, fishing seminars, long-range cruising clinics and on-water boat handling classes. Plus, visitors can enjoy live music and refreshments at the show’s floating cocktail lounges.

The show takes place along Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach, directly across the Intracoastal Waterway from Palm Beach Island. It runs from noon until 7pm on 22nd March, 10am to 7pm on 23rd and 24th March, and 10am to 6pm on 25th March.
