Lürssen superyacht ‘Coral Ocean’ to attend Miami Yacht Show 2019

The iconic 73m/238ft motor yacht ‘Coral Ocean’ is one of the largest yachts so far to sign up to the 2019 Miami Yacht Show.

After spending the winter cruising in the Caribbean, Coral Ocean will soon be making her way to Miami in time for the annual yachting extravaganza, which will take place this year from 14 to 18 February.

Originally launched in 1994, the Lürssen yacht was one of the first masterpieces from celebrated designer and stylist Jon Bannenberg. Immaculately maintained over the years, she also remained much of a mystery. But this secrecy came to an end when she joined the charter fleet in 2016.

Now charterers can experience her stunning Polynesian-themed interior as well as a selection of features which would have been considered extremely cutting-edge at the time of her delivery over 20 years ago.

These include a dedicated gym and spa area, and retractable balconies in the main salon. Yet she also benefits from a recent refit from the German yard, which has successfully maintained the original feel and look of the yacht and ensured modern compliance standards are met.

Other highlights of luxury yacht Coral Ocean include a convention-eschewing layout, which sees a stunning central staircase running up the aft decks and articulated levels on the sundeck.

There are plenty of spaces, however, in which guests can relax and entertain on a luxury yacht charter. An inviting spa pool and sumptuous seating areas are found on the sundeck, while an al fresco dining setup and large sit-up bar await on the decks below. There is also a large swim platform.

A whole host of materials, ranging from driftwood and limestone to African tribal cloth, conch shells and parchment, as well as a neutral colour palette of cream and browns, ensure a very tranquil atmosphere throughout the entire interior with an exotic twist adding unique appeal.

With her history and modern-day appeal, the motor yacht is expected to be one of the most popular superyachts, as well as one of the largest, attending the upcoming Miami Yacht Show.
