Lurssen’s 95m/312ft motor yacht KISMET has arrived at Island Gardens Marina ahead of the 2019 Miami Yacht Show, which is taking place in conjunction with Superyachts Miami at a new location.
Stealing the show as the largest superyacht on the line-up, KISMET has been spotted arriving in downtown Miami in preparation for the annual Miami Yacht Show, which kicks off tomorrow.
The above video captures the luxury yacht docking at Island Gardens Marina on Watson Island, where the Superyachts Miami element of the show is being held.
Adjacent to Island Gardens Marina, plenty of other yachts will be on display at a new venue around Biscayne Bay, which can be seen in the background of the video between MacArthur Causeway and Venetian Causeway (or 15th Street).
The video treats viewers to a closer look at KISMET's Lurssen pedigree and distinctive exterior, which has been designed by the world-renowned Espen Oeino. Her clean lines and fluid curves have created an elongated and elegant profile, which is complemented by a sharp bowsprit that often sports a four-foot statue of a jaguar.
A superior member of the global charter fleet, KISMET is the 53rd longest yacht in the world and has been known to play host to celebrity charter guests including Jay-Z and Beyonce. They were spotted on board last year, indulging in an Italy yacht charter vacation with their children.
Stealing the show as the largest superyacht on the line-up, KISMET has been spotted arriving in downtown Miami.
After cruising along an estuary, KISMET can be seen arriving at Island Gardens Marina and docking opposite a handful of fellow show-attendees. Among them, the Amels-built 55m/180ft motor yacht KAMALAYA can be seen showing off her Tim Heywood-designed exterior, alongside the 47m/154ft charter yacht RHINO, the Season 1 and 2 star of Bravo’s ‘Below Deck’.
While she is not on the Miami Yacht Show line-up, Feadship’s iconic 87m/287ft FOUNTAINHEAD also makes an appearance in the video. Instantly recognisable thanks to her excess of glazing, she is a regular fixture around the coastlines of Florida, the Bahamas and the Caribbean.
Show-goers who wish to step on board a Feadship-built superyacht can find the 59m/193ft superyacht MINDERELLA and the 50m/165ft BROADWATER both docked at Island Gardens Marina. In close proximity to them, the 52m/172ft charter yacht KINTA stands proud alongside Christensen’s popular charter yacht, the 50m/164ft SILVER LINING.
This stellar selection of yachts is complemented by plenty more to see at nearby Biscayne Bay. While Superyachts Miami has always been hosted at Island Gardens Marina, the Miami Yacht Show has moved its location to merge the two together, promising an altogether more seamless show experience.
