Celebrating a milestone anniversary edition, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) returns to Florida with seven marinas and a captivating fleet of luxury yachts for sale and charter.
One of the biggest yachting events of the year, FLIBS is the largest in-water boat show in the world and annually attracts over 100,000 visitors throughout the duration of the event.
Scheduled to run from 30 October to 3 November, there are 194 superyachts in attendance this year, including 71 North America yacht charters, boasting an average length of 121.91ft (37.16m), and an impressive 97 show debuts.
An event that witnesses a substantial increase in attending superyachts from the previous few editions, the 2024 edition of FLIBS coincides with the opening of the brand new Las Olas Marina extension, which began construction in May 2022 and features an additional 7,000 linear feet of docks.
Welcoming the return of popular favorites like the AquaZone at the Broward County Convention Center, the Superyacht Village at Pier 66, and a curated collection of 1,000 exhibiting brands, visitors to the latest edition of FLIBS can expect an immersive experience around the varying exhibits of motor yacht charters and merchandise, with complementary transport systems in place, ensuring all visitors get to experience everything around the seven locations.
Hosting an array of more than 1300 boats and USA yacht charters, the 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show presents an extensive ensemble of yachts from various niches including catamarans and sailing yacht charters through to speedy tenders.
Many well-known shipyards adorn the pontoons this year, with regulars like Sunseeker and Benetti bringing multiple luxury yachts for their displays.
The label for the largest yacht in show for the 2024 edition of FLIBS goes to 257.4ft (78.43m) superyacht rental AMARYLLIS, who makes her first return to the show after 10 years. Recently showcased in Monaco, this striking Abeking & Rasmussen yacht charter is known for her extensive list of onboard amenities, including her certified PADI Dive Centre.
Also making an impact around the docks, 221.5ft (67.5m) charter yacht LOON makes her show debut following her recent appearance at the Monaco Yacht Show, and 196.10ft (60m) super yacht charter BELLA VITA also makes her FLIBS debut, marking her first post-pandemic show appearance.
