Feadship have re-launched their 71.6 metre motor yacht Utopia following completion of her refit.
The 71.6 metre Feadship charter yacht 'Utopia' has completed her refit to the total satisfaction of her captain and owners. She had a thorough repainting of both her superstructure and hull and benefits from a range of mechanical enhancements and refurbishments in a refit that was completed in an exceptionally short amount of time.
This is the second time the owner has had 'Utopia' refitted by Feadship since her launch in 2004. In close collaboration with the owner’s representatives and the Feadship refit crew, the refit schedule was meticulously planned to meet the owner’s budget and cruising schedule.
The new HMSA Sewage treatment plant system on board 'Utopia' will allow her to cruise for longer periods in all luxury yacht charter destinations as she now fully meets authorities’ demands. In addition, her new A-Sea water cooled shore converters will enable her to hook up to both 50 and 60 cycle power networks.
“The main reason to come to Feadship for a refit is to retain the essence of how the boat was built and ensure she remains of the highest pedigree possible in the world today,” commented Kevin Collins, Utopia’s captain. “This has certainly been achieved and the owners are looking forward to putting their better-than-new Feadship through her paces as they embark on their next adventures.”
