Legendary Dutch shipyard Feadship are supporting the 3FM Serious Request Christmas fundraising drive by auctioning off an all-access tour of their Royal Van Lent Shipyard in Kaag with bidding coming to a close tomorrow.
The 3FM Serious Request charity event is held every year to raise money for Red Cross initiatives and will this year support the ‘Hands Off Our Girls’ Campaign to raise awareness of girls and women who are victims of sexual violence in conflict. The event kicked off last week in Haarlem, Netherlands where DJs Coen Swijnenberg, Gerard Ekdom and Domien Verschuuren entered a ‘glass house’ and will live on a juice-only fast until Christmas Eve.
In support of this great cause, Feadship are auctioning a two hour tour of their famous Royal Van Lent Shipyard for the winning bidder plus three friends. This will include a rare opportunity to step on board a superyacht that is currently under construction followed by lunch at the fine Tante Kee restaurant, all topped off with a special goody bag.
This is a unique chance for a yachting enthusiast to experience the first-hand the skilled craftsmanship and Dutch boat building pedigree for which the Feadship brand is famed.
