It's anticipated that the annual Palm Beach International Boat Show, which usually takes place in late March will go ahead. A scaled-down version of the show is expected in West Palm Beach.
a formal announcement has not yet been made, but tickets and event dates are currently being promoted
While a formal announcement has not yet been made, tickets promoting the event dates of March 25 to 28 are already available to purchase. It thought that the city of West Palm Beach will formally announce its decision about the show this week.
Last year, the show was canceled twice due to the pandemic.
There is a strategy already in place for a COVID-19 prepared event this year, should it go ahead. This includes obligatory temperature checks, mask-wearing for all present, and allowing only open-air exhibits. Prior to the pandemic, the Palm Beach Show was a combination of both open-air and enclosed exhibits.
Some exhibitors and megayachts have already been confirmed for the Palm Beach Boat Show this March. Informa, the organizers of the international event, say that the 72.6m (238ft) Quantum of Solace will be present. American-based divisions may also exhibit, but due to government lockdowns and travel bans, guests should not expect any European and UK exhibitors.
