Newly elected officials for Turkey Yachting and Brokers Association (TYBA) met for the first time on 2 April 2021, and after careful consideration of the prevailing COVID-19 issues unanimously voted to postpone the yacht charter event, originally planned to take place between 1-4 May 2021.
Launched in 2018, this trade-only show – held annually at the Yalikavak Marina in Bodrum against a stunning backdrop of hills – has already become a lauded event in the yachting calendar enabling brokers and industry experts to view the wide fleet of Turkey yachts available for charter around this ever-popular destination on behalf of their clients. The show's main focus is both on the promotion of Turkey's vast range of spectacular destinations and their impressive selection of luxury yachts and gulets.
Due to the current COVID-19 issues in Turkey and a number of other European countries it was decided that a postponement rather than outright cancellation was the right course of action given the present circumstances.
We are working on an alternative “online” Show to be held between 22-29 May
Organisers are working on an alternative “online” yacht charter show to be held between 22-29 May. Final confirmation of this online version will be relayed by the TYBA board in the near future.
In the meantime, the show's officials have confirmed that all participation fees, less admin costs, will be refunded within 15 working days.
