The highly regarded 35m/115ft classic motor yacht SYLVIANA has been re-designed by superyacht designer Guido de Groot and will soon undergo an extensive refit.
Launched in 1979 by CRN Ancona, SYLVIANA has been welcoming guests aboard for luxurious Greece yacht charters for many years. Having been lovingly maintained since new, she has successfully combined her classic charm and traditional lines with modern comforts and this latest refit will ensure she continues this for years to come.
From a design aesthetic, her lines have been brought up-to-date without neglecting her classic heritage and associative style that is appreciated by so many people.
Dutch design studio Guido de Groot who have also worked on charter yachts such as the 36m/118ft Perini Navi sailing yacht GITANA have redesigned SYLVIANA with a view to making full use of the space on board. Designer Guido commented: "A main focus of this project was to increase ceiling heights onboard the vessel and the capacity to store larger tenders. From a design aesthetic, her lines have been brought up-to-date without neglecting her classic heritage and associative style that is appreciated by so many people".
The refit will include a significant 4m aft extension as well as modifications to the superstructure, and a completely new upper sun deck. Once completed she will continue to charter in the beautiful cruising grounds of Greece, traversing the coastlines of Santorini, Mykonos and beyond. For more information contact your charter broker.
