Following their remarkable work in helping to restore parts of the Caribbean which were affected by last year’s hurricanes, the crew on board 60m/197ft motor yacht SLIPSTREAM have been awarded the Yachts de Coeur humanitarian prize.
Handed out by Eco-Mer, a French organisation which gathers donations from superyachts in the South of France, the Yachts de Coeur humanitarian award highlights the outstanding charitable work carried out in the yachting industry.
This year the award was handed to SLIPSTREAM after the motor yacht helped to gather donations in the Mediterranean before transporting across the Atlantic to the affected areas in the Caribbean.
Presented to the hardworking crew by Commandant Olivier Troy from the French Royal Navy, the ceremony for the Yachts de Coeur took place on board SLIPSTREAM in Cannes.
Attended by a number of members from the superyacht industry, as well as distinguished members of the French navy, the event helped to celebrate the contributions made by the crews and captains of superyachts in the Caribbean relief effort.
In combination with Eco-Mer and Yacht Aid Global, superyacht SLIPSTREAM delivered much-need supplies and support to those affected by the complications in the Caribbean
Returning to her usual operations following her hard work, superyacht SLIPSTREAM is available for charter vacations in the Mediterranean this summer, with availability in destinations such as Croatia, Italy, and France.
Just like her crew, the superyacht has won awards for her interior, power, and overall styling. Providing guests with the option to sunbathe in style, experience the most exciting water toys, and catch movies at her outdoor cinema, she is capable of sleeping up to 12 guests across 7 well appointed cabins.
