The 110m/361ft luxury yacht JUBILEE won the award for ‘Yacht of the Year’ at the World Yacht Trophies 2017 held last weekend on the penultimate day of the Cannes Yachting Festival.
Measuring an impressive 110 metres, JUBILEE claims the title of the largest superyacht ever built in the Netherlands and is also the biggest yacht to be constructed by Oceanco. But, she has a lot more to offer than just her sheer scale.
With a multitude of incredible features integrated into an architecturally challenging design, she is an extremely worthy winner of the accolade she received in Cannes last week.
Delivered during the summer by the Dutch yard, she is unmissable on the water thanks to the work of Lobanov Design. Clever use of glass in the superstructure blends the deck levels, tricking the eye into believing she is 10 decks high as opposed to five.
The interior design, meanwhile, was headed up by Australian Sam Sorgiovanni. Much of the interior remains under wraps, but the shipyard has said it is ‘both spacious and rich, offering accommodation for up to 30 guests in 15 staterooms including an entirely private owner’s deck’.
Other features of superyacht JUBILEE include a fully certified helicopter deck with a concealed hangar below, and a large aft pool deck with a built-in aquarium and a large beach club below at water level.
Photos also reveal a stunning sundeck with a Jacuzzi flanked by sunpads located forward, just steps away from a shaded lounge area with sumptuous seating.
The profile also reveals side balconies to port and starboard on the main deck, which will be sure to open up the luxuriously styled dining salon and lounge bar on this level.
The motor yacht has only just began turning heads in the industry and she is anticipated to be one of the star attractions at this week’s Monaco Yacht Show.
