This weekend saw the celebrated launch of the newly named 50m (164ft) motor yacht KINDA from Tankoa’s facilities in Genoa amid a flurry of confetti in the colors of the Italian flag. She marks the 4th hull in the Italian yard's successful 50m series.
The all-aluminum superyacht sports both interior and exterior design from the pen of renowned designer Francesco Paszkowski. And while details of the superyacht remain shrouded in secrecy, her exterior styling features elegant lines and floor-to-ceiling windows to maximize natural light and create wide vistas to provide a harmonious balance with her surroundings.
She is also the first unit in the series to feature a swimming pool on her foredeck, marking a distinctive step change from her sister ships VERTIGE and BINTADOR.
She features state-of-the-art technology and engineering for all her onboard systems, as well as a hybrid propulsion system enabling her to cruise in 3 modes; diesel-mechanic, diesel-electric and electric. These modes will allow her to significantly reduce her energy consumption and provide considerable fuel savings to her owner, as well as greatly enhancing on-board comfort while cruising.
As our second yacht with hybrid propulsion, this launch confirms we are at the forefront of technological research in order to meet the needs of even the most sophisticated owners.
She will provide accommodation for 11 guests across 5 cabins, comprising an on-deck master suite and 4 further cabins on her lower deck.
She is now ready for final finishing, commissioning and sea trials before being delivered to her owner. It is expected that delivery will take place later next month.
It is not believed that superyacht KINDA will be available to charter upon delivery. To find out more about booking a yacht to charter, please consult your chosen yacht charter broker.
